Stapleford & District Local History Society
Preserving the heritage of the Stapleford Area since 1995
We aim to encourage and support an interest in the history of the Stapleford area and help conserve and archive material of local interest.
We also encourage and support a more general interest in history.
Stapleford is a town in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. It is 9 kilometres (6.5 miles) west of Nottingham. It lies on the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. To the North is Ilkeston, to the South is Toton, to the East is Beeston and to the West, across the River Erewash is Sandiacre.
Meetings are held most months on the second Tuesdayf of the month at 7:30 in the
Stapleford Community Centre, Cliffe Hill Avenue, Stapleford NG9 7HD
